Merit on Tour: Merit Laboratories will be at the 2018 Michigan Environmental Compliance Conference and the AIPG Michigan Section Workshop
Merit Laboratories’ band of chemists are taking the show on the road for two simultaneous Michigan environmental events on June 12th and 13th: the 2018 Michigan Environmental Compliance Conference (MECC) in Lansing and the 8th Annual AIPG Michigan Section Technical Workshop on Higgins Lake in Roscommon.
Come visit Merit Laboratories at the 2018 Michigan Environmental Compliance Conference (MECC), which is scheduled for June 12 and 13 in Lansing. Merit will be exhibiting at the conference, which is being held at the Lansing Center. The MECC is organized by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). The MECC is geared toward assisting businesses, municipalities, and environmental professionals in Michigan with environmental regulatory compliance.
There are several interesting and informative training sessions schedule for the conference, including sessions on Michigan’s PFAS Response, the Industrial Pretreatment Program, a Compliance Options for the Groundwater-Surface Water (GSI) Pathway on Contaminated Sites, and many more. All told, the 2018 MECC event will include 70 training sessions covering seven tracks, including Waste Management, Wastewater/Storm Water, Drinking Water/Public Health, Air Quality, Redevelopment, Basic Training, and Current Issues. Sessions will be presented by MDEQ environmental compliance experts and professionals.
Not to be outdone, the 8th Annual AIPG Michigan Section Workshop, held at the McMullen Conference Center, is an annual training event focused on providing quality technical information and case studies. The topic for this year’s workshop is Emerging Contaminants and Pathways: A New Paradigm. PFAS (polyfluoroalkyl substances), 1,4-Dioxane, and vapor intrusion will be discussed at the workshop.
