Certifications
Merit maintains laboratory certifications and accreditations with the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP), the Department of Defense ELAP Quality Systems Manual (DoD ELAP QSM), and numerous state certification programs. Merit will add additional certifications to support your projects. Please note that not all states offer laboratory certification for RCRA projects, while reciprocity is granted for many others. NELAP
Merit maintains certification in the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP), following the standards established for this program. Merit's primary NELAP certification is through New York. Merit has provided additional information on NELAP in our technical blog here.

DoD ELAP QSM
Merit is accredited in the Department of Defense Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program Quality Systems Manual (DoD ELAP QSM) . As part of our DoD QSM accreditation, Merit supports projects following the guidelines established in the DoD Quality Systems Manual.
Merit is certified as a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB).

ISO/IEC 17025
PFAS
Merit is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited for PFAS using method 537 rev. 1.1 for drinking water and ASTM D7979-17 for wastewater, surface water, and groundwater.
MICHIGAN
Merit is certified by the State of Michigan for drinking water parameters, including PFAS by EPA 537.1.
